OBSIDIAN (DIAMOND) STEEL

STEP 1
COMBINE

82%        HgSO4                        -    MERCURY SULPHIDE II
10%        K                                 -     POTASSIUM
6%          C                                 -     ANTHRACITE COAL
2%          P                                 -     RED PHOSPHORUS

THIS COMPOUND WILL FACILITATE IN A SLOW-BURN EXOTHERMIC REDUCTION-OXIDATION (REDOX) REACTION



STEP 2

COMBINE

28%         REDOX COMPOUND (FROM STEP 1)
12%         S                                 -    NATURAL SULFUR
54-55%    Fe3O4 (72.4% Fe)     -    IRON ORE (MAGNETITE)

USE THE CALCITE TO LINE THE OUTSIDE OF A V-BOTTOMED CLAY BLADE MOLD

4-5%        CaCO3                      -    CALCITE (CHALK)



STEP 3
ONCE YOU'VE CHALKED THE MOLD; POUR MIXTURE INTO THE V-BOTTOMED BLADE MOLD

PLACE THE MOLD INSIDE A KILN AT 800F-1000F

HEAT MIXTURE FOR AT LEAST 3 DAYS

*DURING THE EXOTHERMIC REACTION; THE MERCURY SULPHIDE AND POTASSIUM FORM ANIONS, WHICH IONISES THE STRUCTURE OF THE FORMING METAL

THE SULFUR HELPS RETAIN ESSENTIAL OXIDATION STATE WITHIN THE BLADES ATOMIC STRUCTURE DURING THIS PROCESS, AND FACILITATES IONIC FUSION DURING THE FINAL HEATING PROCESS

THE CARBONATE RECEIVES OXID WASTE AND IMPURITIES PUSHED OUTWARDS; INCREASING THE PURITY OF THE ELECTRO-INFUSED METAL PRODUCT

DO NOT PLUNGE THE PRODUCT INTO WATER WHEN REMOVED FROM THE KILN AND MOLD

ALLOW TO COOL TO ROOM TEMPERATURE NATURALLY



STEP 4

BY WHATEVER MEANS YOU ARE ABLE TO CARRY OUT SUCH PROCESS ...

PLUNGE THE BLADE INTO MOLTEN LAVA FOR AROUND 3 SECONDS. NO MORE THAN 5 SECONDS

DO NOT PLUNGE INTO WATER

IMMEDIATELY ROLL THE LAVA SLAG COATING IN SAND TO  COOL. CONTINUE ROTATING THE BLADE IN SAND; UNTIL THE SLAG STOPS SMOKING AND YOU CAN FEEL THAT THE INNER MASS OF THE SLAG SURROUND THE METAL PRODUCT HAS SOLIDIFIED

SiO2 IN THE LAVA CREATES AN INFUSION BOND WITH THE SULFUR. FE3 (TRANSIT -O3/+O1) IMBUES THE METAL PRODUCTS EXISTING FE ATOMIC STRUCTURE

MgO IS BONDED INTO THE STRUCTURE OF THE METAL THROUGH REDOX AND CREATES; 

VITREOUS DIAMOND LYE DI-ALLOY STEEL

"OBSIDIAN STEEL" OR "DIAMOND STEEL"

CHIP AWAY THE OBSIDIAN-SLAG COATING, REMOVING THE BLADE

FINISH EDGE ON DIAMOND STONE-WHEEL OR GRINDER, THE SLOWER SPEED SETTING THE BETTER

RUN THE STONE FROM THE CENTER OF THE BLADE OUTWARDS  TOWARDS THE EDGE ONLY WHILST SHARPENING

DO NOT RUN THE EDGE OF THE BLADE 'SIDEWAYS' ACROSS THE STONE-WHEEL WHILST SHARPENING

HOLD THE BLADE AT ONE SMALL SECTION OF ITS EDGE WHILST SHARPENING. THEN PULL THE BLADE AWAY FROM THE STONE-WHEEL COMPLETELY

MOVE ALONG AND REPEAT ON THE NEXT SMALL SECTION OF THE BLADES UNTIL THE WHOLE EDGE IS COMPLETE

FINISHED PRODUCT SHOULD BE BLACK/GREEN STEEL BLADE THAT IS STRONG, AND SHOULD BE SHARP ENOUGH TO CUT MOST OTHER STEEL SWORDS IN HALF

A SAW BLADE FASHIONED IN THIS PROCESS SHOULD BE ABLE TO CUT THROUGH STONE AS IF IT WERE WOOD
